Land Pollution Is A Crime of The People Against The Planet AND Should Be Punishable

Sharing is caring!

Part of our responsibility in life, is to make sure, that our planet is being taken care of, we cannot allow ourselves to continue to have no respect, for our planet, and everything that is created in it.

In today’s article, we are going to talk about the injustices we are committing against the planet, in which we live in today

One of the biggest pollution problems, we are facing right now, is the fact that our lands are becoming polluted, by household garbage.

The industrial waste, as well as the millions of tons of garbage (which consist of product packaging, grass clippings, furniture, clothing, bottles, food scraps, newspapers, appliances, paint and batteries), produced every year, always end up in land fields, where lands become corrupted.

Only about 34 percent of the waste, is recycled, and even the recycled amount of waste, have increased over the years.

Food is about the most problematic land pollution we are facing today; within industrialized countries, more than 35 percent of the food is trashed every year.

How ironic, the industrialized countries, should be helping other countries, with their food problem, but instead they rather trash the food, and not donate it to countries, which are in need of the food.

If you visit the Natural Resources Defense Council website, you will find more information about countries who are wasting their food

It is indeed a crime, which our society is committing not only against humanity, but also against the lands and fields of our planet.

Land pollution deteriorates and destroys the earth’s land surfaces; as a result of man’s activities, and their misuse of land resources, we are now facing problems with our lands.

Waste not being disposed of properly; pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers for agricultural practices as well as exploitation of minerals, during mining activities, have all contributed to the destruction of the surface of the planet.

The industrial revolution have destroyed the natural habitats, and the pollution of the environment have taken place, due to our ignorant actions, towards the environment.

As a result, it has caused diseases in both humans and many other species of animals

The capacity to support life forms and ecosystems, have also been lost or reduced, by our planet, due to the actions of humans.

The types of land pollution are: solid waste, pesticides and fertilizers, chemicals and deforestation, are among the most notable contributors to land pollution.

The consequences of land pollution, in relation to humans, animals, water, and soils, can be catastrophic

The collected garbage have to be separated, into organic, reusable and recyclable waste, or else the effects of land pollution, can be very terrible, to the inhabitants of the planet.

Humans can have problems in the respiratory systems, also skin problems may occurs and cancer increases as a result of land pollution.

By coming into contact with the human skin, or being washed into water sources, such as reservoirs and rivers, which are contaminated, can get pollutants into the human body; therefore, causing all types of problems.

Also by eating fruits and vegetables, which have been grown in polluted soils, and breathing in polluted dust or particles, can help toxic materials and pollutants enter the human body.
