Sharing is caring!

The world of websites, is amazing and you must know and understand all the aspect of developing a website, as a web developer, to be able to survive that technology world.

If you don’t learn the back end, front-end and software DEVelopment” and “information technology OPerationS better known as DevOps; you will be left out in the cold, by a company you don’t like to be part of anyways, but you will still be hurt, if you get fired from your job, but you should know that already.

In today’s article we are going to dive into CSS and learn how to master this technology once and for all

Many people don’t understand, or even think about structuring their CSS and HTML mark-up language.

Instead they forget that to build anything, you have to remember that it has foundations, and without taking the foundations, of whatever it is that you are building into consideration, you will not be able to develop a stable development.

It works the same way, when you are developing your website, you must understand, that your building blocks, must be set up in place the right way, before you can even begin to develop your website; you have to make sure that the foundation of your website has been done right.

When the foundation of a building is not solid, that building will not withstand the test of time, usability and damage, it will instead fall easily.

If an HTML document, is not well structured, and it is not valid, websites would not be able to exist in today’s rapid changing Internet

It is very important to structure your HTML document very well, in order for your CSS document, to be able to work for your website and make your job as a developer much easier.

It is imperative, that you use meaningful mark up, so that you are able to avoid all the problems, and issues that always occur during website development.

Actually, you won’t be able to avoid problems and issues, after you develop your website, even with very well written HTML code, but what you’ll be doing, is that you will be able to handle those problems and fix the issues.

You have to be able to fix these problems too

Let’s say you work for a company, you will have deadlines that you are going to have to meet, and if you don’t meet them, you will be fired.

In the beginning of website development, the early websites were nothing more than, a series of interlinked research documents, which were using HTML to add the basic formatting and structure, needed to be readable to users.

HTML has become a markup language used, for presentational purposes, as the World Wide Web increased in popularity.

HTML though was supposed to be simple and easy to understand; however, because the World Wide Web become more popular, people wanted better websites, and demanded better technology; therefore, HTML became, almost impossible to understand.

So developers, had to develop WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) tools, to handle the mass of meaningless tags, generated during website development.

The development of the WYSIWYG tools, didn’t help though, instead they added more complexity to the development of websites

The average web page was at one point very hard to understand and develop, because most people would break the page by just changing something little in the code.

Something had to be done; therefore, developers stumble upon Cascading Style Sheet also known as CSS, and it became possible to control web pages.

We have to stop now, so that the article is not boring, but browse the website, so that you can find more information about CSS.
